Ski Tip Lodge
About This Spot
Stepping into Ski Tip Lodge feels like crossing a threshold into a quieter, gentler tempo of mountain life. Nestled among the towering pines of Keystone, this warm and inviting retreat balances the charm of an old mountain home with the refined touches of a thoughtfully curated experience. The soft crackle of a fireplace, the inviting glow of well-loved wood, and the gentle murmur of conversation create an ambiance that is both deeply comforting and quietly elegant.
Whether arriving after a day of fresh mountain air or simply seeking a peaceful pause, guests find themselves settling into a relaxed rhythm. Time slows here in the most welcome way — an invitation to savor good company, a thoughtfully prepared meal, or a moment to linger over breakfast with a view of crisp, pine-dusted mornings. The lodge’s intimate spaces offer cozy corners perfect for quiet reflection or shared stories, all framed by the natural beauty just outside the windows.
At the heart of Ski Tip Lodge is its restaurant, where culinary care unfolds with a delicate balance of rustic spirit and elevated technique. Plates arrive as thoughtful compositions that honor local flavors and seasonal ingredients, where a tender, braised short rib or a slice of apple-mascarpone strudel feels like a lovingly crafted gesture rather than just a meal. The progression of courses unfolds slowly, each bite inviting you to slow down and appreciate the layers of flavor and texture, partnered with an attentive, yet unobtrusive service that ensures you feel genuinely valued.
Beyond the dining table, the lodge offers comfortable, impeccably maintained rooms that mirror the same attention to detail. Little touches — like freshly baked cookies or the quiet serenity of the surroundings — make it easy to feel at home, even miles from your own. For those celebrating a special moment, the lodge’s intimate scale and warm atmosphere create a backdrop that feels personal and meaningful, a space where memorable stories naturally unfold.
Whether you’re pausing on a journey over Loveland Pass or simply seeking a retreat that balances comfort with mindful luxury, Ski Tip Lodge is a place to be present — to breathe, connect, and rediscover the small joys tucked between mountain landscapes and quiet evenings.

It's one of those two stars hotels with five stars reviews. They care about every detail to make you feel like at home. From comfortable and clean rooms to homemade cookies. I definitely enjoyed the serenity of the place.

Loveland Pass nearby is a must stop for remarkable views. This is an old home, but well maintained. Be careful walking through due to the variation in flooring. We had fabulous service from beginning to end. We splurged on dinner and it did not disappoint. Breakfast was excellent and beyond your typical hotel breakfast. I am not a food critic, but where are the stars?! We splurge only on anniversaries and the once a year vacation. The meals will be one of my top three. Did I mention the service?! Everyone of their employees were super kind. May the Lord bless their home, family, business, and employees!

Wonderful ski lodge close to Keystone. Our room was comfortable and clean. One morning we had an amazing buffet breakfast. The other mornings we had a very nice breakfast with three choices and I recommend the bacon. We drove a short ways to Keystone parking lot but we could have called for the shuttle. There were options for a hot tub but it was too far for us because we didn’t want to leave the lodge. The fire place was very nice for reading a book by the fire. We think that having no TVs added to the ambiance. We will definitely come back!

The restaurant is a magical experience. So much attention to detail and customer experience. Highly recommend spending a cozy night eating at the Ski Tip Lodge’s restaurant. High-end prices but higher-end service and food!

We had a wonderful dinner at Ski Tip Lodge. The 4-course dinner was delicious, and well-presented. The cozy,, intimate ambiance made the whole experience feel special. Nick provided excellent service -- attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was our daughter's birthday, and she really enjoyed the staff's attentiveness! She really enjoyed her 3-course meal as well--which consisted of a fruit cup, perfectly-cooked medium rare filet and dark chocolate lava brownie sundae. A great spot for a memorable night out. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful early holiday family dinner at Ski Tip Lodge and loved every detail: the cozy ski lodge atmosphere, the delicious 4 course meal, the kind & attentive waiter & service. A truly amazing & unique experience!
